Ruth Burhop is a graduate of Concordia University Ann Arbor, where she met her husband Pastor Burhop, and Concordia University Chicago.

Assistant Organists and Instrumentalists: Emma and Samuel Ledford

Emma Ledford has been playing organ since she was 12, and violin and piano before that. She is currently studying Parish Music at Concordia University Wisconsin, and plays for St. Barnabas when she is home on breaks. Samuel also plays violin and organ, and is finishing his last year of high school.

Sunday morning Divine Services at Saint Barnabas have traditionally been enriched by a small ensemble of students, whether from the university or in high school or grade school, who are able to serve by playing their instruments to accompany the hymns.  To all prospective LSSU students: if you play an instrument, whatever it is, please bring it with you and play for us!
